The TurboCell® integrated TeraStar™ SuperAnt Turbo is a powerful, FCC certified unit that offers the best entry price for a point-to-multipoint (P-MP) outdoor wireless equipment. It is designed for maximum flexibility since it can be configured as either a Base station (supporting up to 8 clients) or a Client Equipment. The SuperAnt Turbo supports unlimited wired users which makes it ideal for Multi-Dwelling / Multi-Tenant Units (MDUs/MTUs) and features an enhanced software suite. This all-in-one unit includes Terabeam's advanced chip set, an embedded 18 dBi antenna, a 2.4 GHz radio, and the award-winning industry standard TurboCell® software. Because of its outstanding feature set and affordable price, the SuperAnt Turbo provides the best value in the outdoor wireless industry. It also supports your existing TurboCell® installations, saving you the need to reinvest in costly software.

Two versions of the SuperAnt Turbo are available: the standard series SuperAnt Turbo with an integral 18 dBi gain flat panel antenna, and the SuperAnt Turbo-LR with the addition of an integrated bi-directional fixed amplifier to boost range and improve reception. The WLAN device located in the antenna gets its power from the DC Power Injector which puts DC power onto the Ethernet cable. Up to 300 feet of Ethernet cable (ordered separately) between the DC injector and the antenna can be used with no signal loss.

Both the SuperAnt Turbo and the SuperAnt Turbo-LR version use a 110/220 VAC to 48 VDC power supply.

NOTE: When the SuperAnt Turbo is configured as a Client, it can associate only to Base stations that run TurboCell® software. It does not work with 802.11b AP's.
