Description
The TeraBridge™ EX1 (previously EX-1) is a license-free digital microwave radio that
provides cost-effective, wireless point-to-point Ethernet
bridging. It operates on the Unlicensed National
Information Infrastructure frequency spectrum (UNII).
The EX1 Ethernet Bridge offers 8 Mbps full duplex
throughput (16 Mbps aggregate) on eight frequency
channels that are user selectable. The system is FCC
Certified for license-free operation with 1 foot and 2 foot
antennas.
The EX1 provides full-duplex operation in the 5.3/5.7
GHz frequency bands in accordance with the FCC Rules
part 15.407. The EX1-Link requires no special tuning or
adjustments at the site; just install, align and connect to
the existing LAN infrastructure via the 10Base-T interface
and the unit is up and transmitting data. This product
is ideal for providing a high speed wireless backbone
to Wireless Internet POPs (WIPOP). Line-of-sight path
distances up to 7 miles or more in the U.S.A. are possible.
Internationally, over 30 km with higher gain dish
antennas can be achieved.
