Calculations: dBm vs. Watts

Using the calculations below you can convert dBm to watts and milliWatts. dBm is used to express an absolute value of power relative to a milliwatt. For further information on this formula, please review the figure below.

• dBm = (10Log₁₀(milliWatts))
• 1 mW = 0 dBm
