A new firmware upgrade (v1.5) for the TeraStar™ EtherAnt-Turbo and EtherAnt-Turbo-LR is available from Terabeam Wireless.

v1.5 of the firmware will provide our customers with several key improvements, such as:

  • Display specific versus generic device names within the AP Wireless Link Test and Association lists.
  • Display signal and noise values in absolute values (i.e., dB).
  • Auto-update the Signal / Noise values every one second.
  • The ability to disable Data Flow Through, so to prevent passing traffic between the wireless and local networks while keeping the unit accessible from each.
  • The ability to block upstream DHCP traffic, i.e., prevent a DHCP server on the local network from serving wireless clients.
  • A complete re-design of the Web interface of the EtherAnt-Turbo (-LR) to enhance its look and feel.
